    Come for a weekday morning visit. Meet the administrators, Rebbeim and teachers, and see the classrooms in action. Plan your visit.

Who Tashbar is for

Boys from kindergarten through eighth grade

Tashbar is a yeshiva day school for boys in grades K–8. Because our classes are mixed-age and tracked, a boy joins the class best suited to him rather than simply the one his birthday points to, and the tracks correspond to mainstream grade levels.

That makes Tashbar a good fit for a boy who is ready to move ahead, for a boy who needs a little more time, and for a boy who simply does best in a small, warm classroom where the Rebbi knows him well.

Which grades can apply?

Tashbar accepts boys from kindergarten through eighth grade.

What happens after I submit the inquiry form?

Someone from the school will get back to you. From there you can ask questions, schedule a visit and talk about placement.

Can we visit before applying?

Yes, and we encourage it. Visits run on weekday mornings. See the Visit Us page for details.

How is my son placed in a class?

Tashbar's classes are mixed-age and tracked. Your son joins the class best suited to him, and the tracks are on par with mainstream grade levels. The school will discuss placement with you directly.
