Why it matters
Small classes cost more. They are worth it.
Tashbar keeps its teacher-to-student ratio very low on purpose. It is how a Rebbi comes to know each boy well enough to teach him at the right pace, and it is the single biggest reason our students thrive.
That kind of attention is expensive, and tuition alone does not cover it. Scholarships, seforim, trips, siyumim and the everyday work of running a warm, well-staffed school all depend on partners who believe that Torah is every child's birthright.
When you partner with Tashbar you are not funding an institution. You are putting a sefer in a boy's hands, a Rebbi at his side and a Shabbos oneg on his table.
